My husband was discharged from Monklands this afternoon. He was to be given medication but this was not available as the pharmacy was closed and staff seemed unable to source what was needed Now my daughter will have to go down tomorrow after work to collect these I feel that this this is not acceptable.
On discharge from AMRU we are still no further forward as to why he was admitted.
No one was able to give us any answers. I feel the member of staff I spoke with was reluctant to answer my questions.
According to the notices outside the ward family members are a valuable part of the healthcare team, but this did not seem obvious to me.
"It didn't feel that family was valued"
