"Gave me the information I needed to support myself"

About: Inclusion Recovery Cambridge

(as a carer),

Thank you Cambridge Friends and Family Group for Inclusion.

I found coming to the group a lifeline. It gave me the information I needed to support me in my understanding of addiction, it also enabled me to pass on the information to my family and my addicted son. I also attended a course about how the brain works for addictive people, that was excellent.

The support when listening to other peoples stories was amazing it helped me to realise, we were not alone.

Thank you Cate for responding so quickly to our crisis situation. Just talking to you on the phone was reassuring and positive.

This is exactly how we hope it works. Engage with families and then the information is shared around so everyone can support. Im so pleased you got what you needed from us. No one is ever alone and there are people out there ready to support others.

Thanks for your kind words.

Paul
