I recently was on the other side of the NHS after a recent surgery at the Day surgery unit and theatre at QMH Dunfermline. I would like to thank SCN Nola and all her amazing team, in particular Fiona and Alison for the amazing care I received. The entire experience was a positive one and as a team you should be very proud of the service you deliver on a daily basis. My surgeon Miss McIlhinney and team were so informative and prompt in there delivery of care. A special thanks to Dr McKay and ODP Janine who made me feel very relaxed in the anaesthetic room during a very anxious time. A post op visit to ensure I was pain free was equally appreciated. To all other members of the theatre and recovery team who played their part in providing a safe surgical outcome for me please pass on my kindest regards. It is difficult being a patient when you are normally the care giver but I honestly can not praise this team highly enough. Thank you.
