"Amazing staff."

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended A& E with my Son who had became unwell suddenly at home. Very scary experience for him, and for myself as a parent. However, all staff in A& E, and ward 19 were so kind, caring, helpful, and made my son feel at ease. It all went by so fast, I didn't catch everyone's name. All of the staff in A& E from the nurses, care assistants and doctors were second to none, kept us up to date throughout our stay. The student nurse who had performed an ECG on my son was so lovely and caring, and made my scared little boy, feel more at ease. Truly appreciate what you all do. Also, the staff in ward 19 were amazing, the nurses, doctors, and care assistant. You all do an amazing job, thank you so much.

Staceybxx,

Many thanks for taking the time to post your experience of your sons care during his visit to the emergency department.

The staff will be delighted to read your kind words and I will ensure this is passed onto those involved in his care.

I do hope he is feeling better and on the road to recovery.

Best wishes

Andy
