I had the misfortune of visiting the Centre for Independent Living in Huyton, Merseyside. My partner had missed a delivery of incontinence pads, I found the attitude of the the staff, rude, unhelpful and uncaring when I tried to rearrange delivery. My partner had Cancer last year and unfortunately one of the side effects of her treatment is incontence. She gets a delivery of pads on a regular basis. Unfortunately the delivery was missed on Friday 13/11/20 and despite leaving several telephone messages nothing was done to rearrange delivery. I visited today 19/11/20 to collect pads / rearrange delivery. They were out of stock which I understand, but attitude was disgraceful, completely unsympathetic. No facility to check when stock is in, just have to call in again. Also was informed for delivery we go on a waiting list, why? Our Delivery must be somewhere? She quoted about everyone working from, COVID is no excuse for rudeness.
"Staff were Rude and unhelpful"
