I changed to this practice in 2016 and I have been treated with respect by every single dr & nurse I have encountered since joining. None of my issues are too small and my mental health has improved significantly thanks to both medication and access to counseling and CBT techniques.
The reception staff are helpful and approachable which is an area of service that many practices fail at.
I have met a nurse as an alternative to a GP appointment and her practice and advice were appropriate for what I needed. Another nurse made me feel at ease for my smear test, it's never been a thing I've worried about, but it was quick and painless nonetheless.
I love the new ask my GP service, it saves so much time trying to arrange an appointment and saves me attending the GP if things can be dealt with in a phone call. Two doctors both helped with general and mental health enquiries. Another listened and consoled me following a miscarriage.
Now that I am pregnant again I have had a few appointments with a locum doctor. This person helped me through horrific 'morning sickness' arranging for me to be seen at maternity triage and recently referred me to hospital to rule out a blood clot (how do people do this pregnancy nonsense repeatedly!? lol). Thankfully everything tested fine (as we suspected), but I just can't thank everyone at this practice for making me feel genuinely listened to! Thank you so much, what a credit to the NHS!
"Brilliant service at GP practice"
