"Eating Disorder Service helped me return to normal eating"

I was referred to the Sheffield Eating Disorder Service in the depths of my bulimia.

I received a 10-week CBT program which helped me return to a normal eating pattern after 5 years of disordered eating. Me and my therapist Gillian worked on both my eating and distress intolerance problems, in which I challenged many struggles and found ways to self-soothe.

In addition, I was offered a follow-up session post-treatment to ensure my well being a month later on, it meant a lot. Very worth it.
