Nicola,

Thank you so much for this really positive feedback of the care you received whilst you were in our unit (Ward 47, Altnagelvin). Having a baby can often be a time of fear and uncertainty for mums. Your experience of birth during the Pandemic will hopefully bring a sense of reassurance to others who may find themselves in a similar situation. Staff within maternity who work within the Covid Unit aim to provide the highest level of care, attention and safety to all mothers and babies they care for, and we are delighted as a team that we have achieved this for you. I have passed on your kind words to all staff and on behalf of everyone, it was an honour and privilege to be a part of your special journey. We hope you and your family are well,

Leanne
