"Great communication & Care"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Acute Assessment Unit (AAU)

(as a relative),

On boxing day I took my Dad to AAU for follow up following discharge from ward 46.

I want to say a really big thank you to Nurse Amy and the Doctor who spent time listening to me about concerns I had about my Dad's health and wellbeing. My Dad had recently being diagnosed with AF and also has a number of other underlying conditions.

They took time to listen and understand my concerns and questions. Thank you so much for your amazing care and attention.

Thank you for your kind recognition of our staff with regard to the support they have provided you on your father’s diagnosis. I am pleased you felt listened to and I hope the time spent goes some way to reducing any anxiety you had about your father’s health. I will ensure your kind words are shared with the staff.

Best wishes

John Carson
