"Minor Injuries at Whitehills"

About: Whitehills Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I had a bad fall on my garden path and my eyebrow was bleeding quite badly. I was taken, by a friend, to Whitehills Minor Injuries unit where I was looked after incredably well. It would be very sad indeed if this facility were to no longer to be available. If this was the case I would have had to go to Ninewells Hospital adding to the burden on bust A and E's.Thwe staff at Whitehills were second to none.

Dear BigC

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comments on care opinion. Your feedback helps us to know what we did well and how we can improve our service.

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad fall resulting in a wound at your eyebrow. You must have got such a fright, hopefully you weren't too sore. Its very reassuring to know that the staff in the Minor Injuries and Illness unit in Forfar looked after you very well. We are very lucky in Angus to have such great facilities locally and such wonderful staff.

I will pass on your very kind message to all of the staff and I'm sure like me, they will be delighted that you were happy with the care provided. I hope you are feeling much better and enjoying some of this lovely summer weather.

Kind Regards

Anne Black
