Involvement & Listening to You.
A number of patients on Lister Ward requested to attend a nationally recognised training course on Food Hygiene.
The Hotel Services Department at the Wells Road Centre said they would commit to delivering the training to the patients.
The Training took place on Lister ward, Low Secure Forensic Services, Nottingham on the 11th July 2014
The day was very successful with all candidates passing the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Level 2 Food Safety exam.
A certificate presentation took place on the 15th August 2014 in the patients coffee bar at the Wells Road Centre.
This qualification is required for anyone wishing to work in a catering environment.
This is helping patients to keep up to date with qualifications whilst in hospital.
