On 27th September, I had the absolute pleasure of going along to the NMAHP (Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Professionals) Conference for NHS Tayside. The conference was a 2 day event, held at the Regional Performance Centre in Dundee and focused on Recovery and Renewal for staff and services.

I had the amazing opportunity to co-present with Angie Macmanus, AHP Lead from Perth & Kinross Health & Social Care Partnership. The partnership has been conducting a test of change with Care Opinion and recently signed up for a subscription, bringing on more services to receive and respond to feedback on Care Opinion, which is very exciting!

As well as meeting lots of lovely people, I was amazed at the ideas, innovation and kindness from all involved in the event, and was very proud to be part of it.

Highlights from our session

We talked about Care Opinion, who we are and what we do with online patient feedback. We then spoke about the test of change in Perth & Kinross, as well as how the partnership plans to use Care Opinion to improve services, staff morale and patient engagement moving forward.

We looked at the feedback given so far by patients and service users:

We also highlighted the feedback from staff involved in the test of change. Staff read and respond to stories on Care Opinion about their services and gave feedback on their experiences:
