My teenager has Autism, Neurofibromotosis, chari+malformation.
had decompression surgery in feb this year an received fab care after surgery in the Southern General hospital! But when back home there has been little help recieved.
The condition was good for a few weeks after surgery but then deteriorated throughout the year! My child was signed off by the neuro surgeon in the summer as it was felt no further surgery was needed, but I've not had any chance to see these scans myself or talk further about my child.
I was told this would be referred to a neurologist but now we are in Dec and iv received nothing? ?
I now have a teenager who is virtually bed bound with pain, sickness, dizziness! and missing school which is a very important year! My teenager has worked so hard at school doing really well, top of class winning awards to now hardly ever at school!
I feel now my teenager is starting to suffer from depression due to health! ! All I want is for us to see a neurologist asap! Why should my child be left to suffer! I feel no-one will help us I've been back an forward to GP an even they cant find any info on what's happening either? ? ?
Please someone help us my son needs help an care asap!
